Los Angeles Congregate Living is a licensed Congregate Living Health Facility (CLHF). Our six-bed home serves individuals with complex medical needs. Many of our residents are ventilator-dependent. Our facility also accommodates residents with special feeding needs such as gastrostomy tubes. Our professional care team has unmatched expertise in providing high-quality medical management and restorative care to individuals with catastrophic injuries or illnesses.
Personalized Care
Los Angeles Congregate Living provides 24-hour licensed nursing care, comprehensive activities and therapy programs, including physical and occupational therapy, speech and recreational therapy, psychological services, and physician-prescribed individual wellness and therapy programs, all in a home-like caring environment.

Unlike most post-acute care alternatives of nursing facilities, Los Angeles Congregate Living provides a non-institutional environment, creating a home surrounding that is conducive for a quicker recovery. Each room features a home-like setting with a common area for patients to gather and a common dining room for residents to enjoy a meal together. At Los Angeles Congregate Living, we provide an amazing 3 to 6 staff to patient ratio to allow close interaction between residents and staff. This creates and an intimate family like environment, where our residents thrive!
ACTIVE TREATMENT
The State of California requires organizations like ours to provide "Active Treatment". Active Treatment is defined as "an aggressive effort to fulfill each client's fullest developmental capacity, optimal physical, intellectual, social and vocational functioning." In our case, helping children or adults with developmental disabilities is not just our duty, it is our passion! Our ultimate efforts are always directed toward helping our patients achieve what they need to be able to function with as much independence and self-reliance as possible

With our staff of registered nurses (RN), licensed vocational nurses (LVN), certified nursing assistants (CNA) and contracted providers, we are committed to providing the highest quality of services available to those entrusted to our care. We offer customized plans of care that focus on enhancing the quality of life for our residents in a dignified, nurturing, and comfortable environment. We encourage life-enhancing activities designed for each resident which support engagement for their well-being.
